First Chongqing hotpot restaurant opens in Oxford
San Qian Chongqing Hotpot in St Michael's Street adds to the city's diverse food outlets.
The first authentic Chongqing hotpot restaurant in Oxford has opened.
This hotpot restaurant has brought the characteristic hotpots with a spicy, numbing, fresh and fragrant taste of Chongqing to Oxford, becoming an important choice for local people to explore Chinese cuisine.
To celebrate the opening, there was a 20% discount in the first two weeks, attracting many local Chinese and natives.
Two types of Chinese cuisine in One Location
The owner of this hotpot restaurant opened a beef noodle restaurant as early as July this year and achieved good business results. Thanks to the success of the noodle restaurant, the owner decided to open a Chongqing hotpot restaurant upstairs from the beef noodle restaurant, bringing the spicy and rich flavours from Chongqing, a city in southwestern China, to Oxford.
The interior design of the newly opened hotpot restaurant is full of Chinese charm. The unique attic design creates a more comfortable dining atmosphere. The elements of chandeliers, screens, and flowers all showcase strong traditional Chinese aesthetics, providing customers with a comfortable and culturally rich dining environment.
Individual Pots and Diverse Flavours
In order to meet the diverse needs of customers, the hot pot restaurant has specially designed a one pot dining mode for each person. This mode allows customers who dine alone or have different taste preferences to enjoy the fun of authentic hotpot. This innovative form has been praised by many diners, especially those who like to dine alone.Meanwhile, to suit customers with different tastes, the hotpot restaurant offers six choices of soup bases, including the traditional spicy and numbing soup base and the unique chestnut and chicken soup base. A food review on social media said that chestnut chicken soup was "extremely delicious" and was an ideal choice for those who did not like spicy dishes.
