Oxford City Council set to raise Oxford Living Wage

Oxford City Council raises Oxford Living Wage to over £14.06 in April 2026.
On November 4th Oxford City Council announced an increase in the Oxford Living Wage.
The Council’s decision in raising the Oxford Living Wage was made after an annual review deeming Oxford one of UK’s most expensive cities.
Over 175 organisations signed up to pay their employees at least the Oxford Living Wage in 2024/2025. This was the highest number of organisation involvement since the initiative was launched in 2009.
It is on a voluntary basis that organisations choose to pay the increased Oxford Living Wage.
The Council encourages organisations to continue their commitment to paying the Oxford Living Wage, urging the city to remain a good and fair place to live.
