Oxford Victorian Christmas market returns for its fifth year
The popular market will be bringing the festivities back to Oxford early.
The Oxford Victorian Christmas market is returning to Broad Street, with 50 festive food, drink and artisan stalls ready to enjoy.
The market will start on Thursday 13th November, and run for 4 days until Sunday 16th November.
The heart of Oxford city centre will be transported back in time to the 1800s, for visitors to experience a Victorian Christmas. All stalls will be decorated traditionally and all stallholders will be wearing Victorian dress. Within the market, there will be street entertainment, including Victorian style stilt performers.
The stalls offer a variety of goods. From jewellery and illustrated mugs for gifts, to jams and cheese to have on the special day, to mulled wine, hot chocolates and loaded hot dogs to enjoy at the market.
The event is free, and fully accessible for anyone to visit.
The opening times for each day are as follows:
Thursday 13th November: 12pm – 8pm
Friday 14th November: 10am – 8pm
Saturday 15th November: 10am – 8pm
Sunday 16th November: 10am – 5pm
The event is organised by LSD promotions, who organise a range of other Victorian Christmas markets around the UK.
