In the constantly evolving landscape of fashion, certain collections protrude for their visionary appeal and timeless approach. Schiaparelli’s Spring/Summer 2025 Ready-to-Wear collection aptly called “Future Vintage”, is an indication to such innovation. Under the creative guidance of Daniel Roseberry, the show delved into a melodious blend of past inspirations and forward-inspired designs, curating styles that resonate with both history and modernism.
His vision for this collection revolves around the idea of ‘passing down the generations’. He curates this intent, stating, ‘At the beginning of this collection, we decided we were going to make clothes not just for our clients, but for their daughters and granddaughters. Future Vintage, I’m calling it.’ This intent is meticulously manufactured in the garments , ensuring they go beyond seasonal trends and remain cherished for generations to come.
Runway highlights

The runway show was graced by the return of supermodel Adriana Lima, who made a significant comeback after a long six-year hiatus. Lima dressed up in an 80’s-inspired white striped dress with corset detailing, accented with gold buttons and statement earring, embodying the collection’s fusion of classic and contemporary elements. Kendal Jenner also took on the runway gracefully flaunting what looked like a pair of low-rise denim jeans coupled with cream corseted bodysuit, but was a one-piece look attached at the waistband of the denim and hem of the bodysuit.

Over the past seasons, Schiaparelli has been a fan favourite for its pioneering accessories to go with his pristine pieces. This season is no different.Accessories in this collection were not an afterthought, but an integral part of the overall outfit. The signature keyhole-shaped hammered gold brass earring, enhanced by the round leather bag with a zebra pattern and an identifying anatomy charm forming a face on the handle. Worn with heeled sandals in nude leather shade embroidered with a measuring tape in contrasting gold medal.Every look from the show incorporated some elements of the shiny gold style, presenting the designers eloquent taste in high quality and expensive looks. Globally, accessories have seen a rise in the popularity of gold jewellery over silverware, which suits well with the Schiaparelli’s choice of accessories.

Leaving the minimalistic aptness, the SS25 collection embraced the vivid colour spectrum of the abstract artistry. Loud colours dominate the runway, infusing energy and a celebratory vibe into the pieces. The bold palette was complimented by the rich appearance and patterns, including animal print and sequin florals, which further enhance the depth and intrigues the visual of the collection.

Roseberry emphasizes that this collection is a tribute to the women who bring them to life. Acknowledging the contributions of everyone involved, ranging from models and stylists to artisans and technicians, stating, ‘This collection, like all my work, owes everything to the women who brought it to life…This collection isn’t just possible because of you, it was designed for you and with you. It exists because of you. Thank you.’ This dedication understands the collaborative spirit and the celebration of femininity that penetrates the collection.
