Taylor Swift: Breaking all the records in Style
Taylor Swift’s European leg of The Eras Tour has finally started in Paris after Swifties eagerly waited for Taylor to perform out there.
Taylor Swift performs for more than three hours, 44 songs and for each show two different surprise songs extracted from 10 of her albums including the latest one: The Tortured Poets Department. It is not only an incredible singing performance but also a visual show with different sceneries and outfits representing different Eras.
These shows are a chance for Swifties to dress up in their favourite eras which represent an album such as Lover and exchange friendship bracelets they have been preparing for months ahead of the show with each other. A one-time experience for the lucky ones out there who survived ‘The Great War’ to get their tickets as they sold out very quickly despite all the concert dates.
Her last album which is a double album containing 31 tracks was released on the 19th of April 2024 breaks all the records. It is the most streamed album in a single day.

Taylor Swift has broken so many records for a female artist that it is hard to count them all. A few months ago, she broke the Guinness World Record set by Elton John with his five-year farewell tour, bringing in $939 million with over 328 shows. Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is now the official highest-grossing music tour surpassing $1 billion. It has been more than a year that she has been touring and still seven months to go with a total of 152 shows across 5 continents.
Her last tour was in 2018 for the Reputation Stadium Tour as she was not able to perform for her following albums Lover, Folklore, Evermore and Midnight due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This tour was very long awaited by her fan base.
The Eras Tour has 99 more shows than the Reputation Stadium Tour. It also made 61% more money than her tour back in 2018. In comparison to her first ever tour Fearless she made 91% more profit which shows her growth as an artist since 2009. During this extremely popular journey of The Eras Tour, which is still ongoing, a film came out about the tour. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour the movie amassed $250 million which makes it one of the most successful concert films of all time; Compared to Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé which came out the same year as Taylor Swift’s film it amassed 92% less money than her colleague.
In 2023, Taylor Swift became the only living artist to achieve an iconic record after 10 of her albums were simultaneously placed on the US Billboard 200.
• folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions (No.3)
• Midnights (No.4)
• Lover (No.10)
• folklore (No.12)
• 1989 (No.21)
• reputation (No.22)
• Red (Taylor’s Version) (No.27)
• evermore (No.29)
• Fearless (Taylor’s Version) (No.41)
• Speak Now (No.66)
Only three other artists had at least 10 of their albums at the same time on the US Billboard 200 chart: Whitney Houston in 2012, David Bowie and Prince both in 2016 but this all happened after their death.
The global star: Taylor Swift continues to dazzle audiences around the world, she is not only touring but is also releasing new albums and is working on her Taylor’s version re-recordings. Taylor Swift’s reign as the queen of pop which we assume could’ve only happened in her wildest dreams, to become as successful as she is now.
